Deirdre Marlowe is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a diverse background in nonprofit leadership, teaching, and tutoring. Since September 2015, Deirdre has operated as an independent contractor, focusing on curriculum development and delivery in the U.S. Deirdre tutors students in Grades 3-12 through Lighthouse Education, specializing in reading, English language arts, and college preparation. As a Pathway Lead and Teaching Artist for the Foundation for New American Musicals, Deirdre has successfully secured significant funding and expanded student outreach. In previous roles, Deirdre has served as Executive Director of Peninsula Bridge, Acting Director for The Maryland Charter School Network, and Program Director for the Middle Grades Partnership, emphasizing educational accessibility and partnership development. Deirdre holds degrees from prestigious institutions, including a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Graduate Certificate from Johns Hopkins University.
