Meaghan Smith

Meaghan Smith has extensive experience in leadership and management roles within international development and consulting sectors. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of Banyan Global since 2004, Meaghan has driven strategic initiatives and organizational growth. Prior experience includes a managerial position at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu from 1999 to 2004 and roles at Asian Crossroads Loan Company as Vice President and Uzbekistan Country Director, and at the International Rescue Committee as Small Business Program Manager and Field Coordinator in Tajikistan. Meaghan began a career in small business development as a Program Officer in Bosnia-Herzegovina with Action Internationale Contre la Faim/USA from 1994 to 1995. Academic credentials include a Master of International Affairs in Economic Development from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
