Richard Nkwera

Richard Nkwera is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, business strengthening, and health systems development. Currently serving as the USAID HRH Evaluation Team Lead at Social Impact since November 2023, Nkwera has also been a Business Strengthening Consultant and Project Manager at Banyan Global since August 2017, focusing on enhancing business practices within the health sector in Tanzania. Additional roles include Director of Operations at Maisha Labs Tanzania and Chief Executive Officer at YUMANGA Enterprises Co. Ltd, as well as National Project Coordinator for the Tanzania CACX Screening Technology clinical trial at the Tanzania Social Outreach Initiative. Nkwera's technical expertise further extends to the GIZ Dar es Salaam, where efforts have involved capacity development and health systems advocacy since 2004. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Project Management from Don Bosco University and a BBA from the University of Dar es Salaam.
