Alan Chin

Alan Chin currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Banyan Tree China and Senior Vice President of Banyan Tree Holdings, a role held since November 2010. Appointed as CEO and Board Director of Banyan Tree China in 2017, Alan oversees all business operations in the region. Prior to this, Alan held key positions including Managing Director of Laguna Chengdu and the Banyan Tree China Fund. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Acquisition and Project Development at China Hospitality Fund, where Alan established investment strategies and sourced sites for multiple Hilton Garden Inn hotels. Additionally, Alan worked at Accor as Director of Product and Projects, contributing to the development of numerous Ibis and Novotel hotels in China. Career beginnings trace back to China Electronics Engineering Design Institute, culminating in the role of Design Project Manager. Alan Chin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Civil Engineering from Beijing University of Technology.
