Rowel Bughao

Rowel Bughao is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in e-commerce, digital transformation, and technology management. Currently serving as the E-Commerce IT Manager at Banyan Tree Group since March 2023, Rowel oversees the technology stack for various brand websites and has developed an image classifier for compliance monitoring. Prior to this, Rowel was a Chief Consultant, providing IT infrastructure and digital marketing expertise to SMEs, and held positions such as Chief Technology Officer at Iris Workshare and Senior Manager of Digital Platforms Operations at Millennium Hotels and Resorts. Rowel's career includes founding Bughao and co-founding WebOSS Extreme Paintball, as well as contributions as a Board Director at Scega Cooperative. Rowel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southwestern University.
