Michael Plachta has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 2005 as a Sales Engineer Intern with Embraco N.A. as part of the Georgia Tech Internship Program. In 2006, they joined the Kroger Co.’s Facility Engineering Dept. in Atlanta, GA as a Project Manager. In 2012, they were hired as a Construction Project Manager at Hooters of America, LLC. to initiate a major remodel program for all restaurants. In 2013, they became Director of Project Management and Field Services at Conquest Solutions. In 2015, they were hired as a Customer Success Manager at Bluescape.com, where they worked directly with customers to ensure their Bluescape experience was a success. In 2016, they joined VMware as an Engagement Program Manager, where they managed complex programs for high level customers. In 2022, they became Senior Account Manager - Customer Success at Banyan Hills Technologies.

Michael Plachta obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2006. Michael later returned to the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 2013 and 2015. In 2019, they obtained a VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation certification from VMware. Michael also holds a VMware Certified Professional - Digital Workspace certification from VMware.
