Robert Butler has worked in the tech industry since 2004. In 2004, they worked as a Technical Intern at Fidelity Investments. In 2020, they began working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Step, where they hardened and scaled Google Cloud infrastructure for public launch of Step's main application and developed automated build and deployment pipelines for Step's microservice architecture. Robert currently works as a Lead Software Engineer at Banyan Infrastructure, where they are responsible for system architecture and making sure the system is designed to support the features and growth needed over the next several years.

Robert Butler attended Texas A&M University from 2002 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
