Rory Catchpole

Rory Catchpole is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as M&A Director at Banyan Software since February 2024. Prior to this role, Rory served as Corporate Development Director for Emeria UK, where responsibilities included managing 15 acquisitions following the acquisition of FirstPort. At FirstPort, Rory was the M&A Director, leading a buy-and-build strategy that resulted in seven acquisitions within ten months before the company was acquired by Emeria. Rory's earlier experience includes roles in credit risk and restructuring at Aviva and a progressive career at Grant Thornton UK, culminating in the position of Corporate Finance Associate Director. Rory is an ICAEW Qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Exeter.
