Gillan T. has a long and varied work experience. From 2013 to present, they have served as the CEO and COO of Banyan Water, a venture capital-financed IoT software company. From 2010 to 2013, they served as Regional Director, Southern U.S. for EnerNOC. From 2000 to 2010, they served as Senior Vice President and Chief Environmental Officer for Green Mountain Energy Company an NRG Company. From 1997 to 2000, they served as Chief Economist for the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

Gillan T. holds an M.A. in International Economics and Energy Policy from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in Economics and German from the University of Vermont.
