Rafael Salafranca

Rafael Salafranca Laforga currently serves as Chief Operations Officer at Baobab Soluciones, a position held since May 2017. Previously, Rafael worked as IT Program Manager at O.N.C.E. from January 2016 to September 2017, overseeing the integration of lottery software across the organization and managing technical relations with various stakeholders. Rafael's extensive experience includes serving as Service Manager at Ibermática for over a decade, where responsibilities included managing online wagering systems and leading a large technical team. Earlier roles included Operations Shift Supervisor and a position at Vodafone as a system administrator for Linux and VMS systems. Rafael began a military career as a light infantry officer in the Spanish Army, commanding a platoon during national service. Rafael holds a Licenciado degree in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, earned between 1993 and 1999.
