Baobab Studios
Anika Nagpal is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in animation and education. Currently serving as the Manager of Creative Development for TV and Film and Head of Publishing at Baobab Studios since January 2020, Anika oversees the creative development of original intellectual properties, managing teams of directors, writers, and artists. Notably, Anika contributed to the international production of the animated film "Namoo," which was shortlisted for the 2022 Oscar and nominated for an Emmy. Prior experience includes teaching art to 3rd and 4th graders at Root Division and holding art director roles at the Frost Music and Art Festival. Anika holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Art Practice and Human Biology from Stanford University and has further training from Animation Collaborative.
