Scott Mease is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in visual effects and graphics engineering. Currently a Senior Staff Engineer at Baobab Studios since March 2019, Scott has previously held positions at Industrial Light & Magic from August 2000 to November 2018, where notable projects included volumetric cloud simulations for Solo: A Star Wars Story, large-scale water simulations for Kong: Skull Island, and complex fire and particle simulations for Transformers: The Last Knight. Additionally, contributions to Disney attractions such as Soarin’ and Pirates of the Caribbean Shanghai exemplify Scott's expertise in high-fidelity simulations. Earlier in career, Scott served as a Programmer at Looking Glass Studio, developing tools for game design and in-game effects. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
