Benedikt Klingenheben

Benedikt Klingenheben has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Benedikt is currently working at Baobab as the Head of Cyber Underwriting since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Chubb, starting in September 2018, where they held various roles in cyber underwriting, including Practice Leader for Cyber Middle Market. Before joining Chubb, Benedikt worked at AIG from December 2015 to August 2018, specializing in cyber risk underwriting and financial lines. Benedikt also gained experience as an Underwriting Analyst in M&A and Financial Lines at AIG. Benedikt's early career involved working at KPMG Deutschland as part of their master's thesis and as a Student Assistant at Generali Deutschland Holding AG. Benedikt started their professional journey in the insurance industry through an education program at Central Krankenversicherung, where they were trained as an Insurance Salesman and worked in employee consulting services.

Benedikt Klingenheben began their education at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Insurance Business and Finance from 2010 to 2013. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Insurance Business from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Benedikt Klingenheben has obtained various certifications. In August 2018, they earned the Associate of (ISC)² certification from (ISC)². This was followed by the certification of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in January 2020. Most recently, in March 2022, they achieved the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA.
