Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Energies, overseeing the company's investments in the oil and gas sector. Mark also serves as the Chairman of the Board at Bahrain National Gas Company, Deputy Chairman at Bahrain Petroleum Company, and a Board Member at Tatweer Petroleum. Previously, Mark held various leadership roles at BP, including Head of Group Chief Executive's Office, Regional President - North Sea, and VP Technical Functions, Global Operations. Mark has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a background in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in International Finance. Additionally, Mark has served on the boards of Oil & Gas UK, The International School of Azerbaijan, and AmCham Azerbaijan.
