Samah al Hamad

Samah Al Hamad is a seasoned professional in enterprise risk and compliance management, currently serving as Vice President of Group Enterprise Risk at Bapco Energies since October 2025. Prior to this role, Samah held a managerial position at Bapco Refining from June 2023 to October 2025 and has extensive experience with the Bahrain Petroleum Company, where roles included Manager of Risk, Compliance, and Information Security, Acting Manager of Risk and Compliance, Superintendent of Business Sustainability, Superintendent of Business Resilience Management, Operational Excellence Leader, and Occupational Hygienist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Bahrain. Samah's current responsibilities involve overseeing business improvement projects and managing enterprise risk and business continuity.
