Baptist Medical Network is a 501(a) organization comprised of more than 220+ healthcare professionals who deliver medical and surgical care to individuals in 17 communities and 12 counties of South Texas. The physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are part of Baptist Medical Network focus on patients of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and walks of life - supported by clinical and administrative staff operating by the management standards of Baptist Medical Network, Tenet Physician Resources and Tenet Healthcare. Founded in 2007, the organization's primary service area is centered in San Antonio and stretches out to a 50-mile radius. Its secondary service areas touch select communities from Comfort to Eagle Pass and from Hondo to San Marcos. Baptist Medical Network aligns with the hospitals of Baptist Health System, which is comprised of six hospitals. These include Baptist Medical Center, Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital, home to Baptist Children's Hospital at North Central and Resolute Baptist Hospital in New Braunfels. In 2022, the providers of Baptist Medical Network provided care to 607,000 individuals.
