Tom Barnett is the current VP & Chief Information & Digital Officer at Baptist Memorial Health Care. Tom has held this position since April 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Information Officer for University of Rochester Medical Center from October 2016 to April 2020. Tom has also held the position of Vice President, Healthcare Information Technology at NorthShore University HealthSystem from June 2013 to September 2016, and Vice President – Application Services and IT Operations at Henry Ford Health System from January 2006 to May 2013. Tom began their career as a Senior Consultant at Lockheed Martin from September 2002 to June 2004.
Tom Barnett completed a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Oakland University, followed by an M.B.A. in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration also from Oakland University. Tom is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
They work with Robbie Johnson - VP & Chief Development Officer, David Elliott - CEO of Baptist Health Services Group of the Mid-South & VP of Managed Care, and Bill Griffin - EVP & CFO. Tom Barnett reports to Jason Little, President & CEO.
