James Aitkens

James Aitkens is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in various accounting and finance roles. Currently serving as a Senior Project Accountant and Corporate Finance Manager at BaptistCare NSW & ACT since July 2021, Aitkens also holds the position of Director at Vertical Analytics Pty Ltd since July 2020. Past roles include Business Analyst at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and Senior Financial Analyst at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. Aitkens has a strong background as Financial Controller for the Australian Youth Orchestra and Group Financial Controller for the Sydney Masonic Centre. Aitkens began the career as an Assistant Accountant at John Keefe & Co and has progressively advanced in the field. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia, a Certificate IV in Accounting from TAFE NSW, and completion of the CA Program through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
