Kate Close Goldman

Kate Close Goldman is an experienced professional in government and community relations, currently serving as the Corporate Director of Government & Community Relations at Baptist Health South Florida since December 2014. In this role, Kate focuses on building positive relationships between Baptist Health and the Broward County community, encompassing various sectors including business, civic organizations, educational institutions, and government officials. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at United Way of Broward County, where efforts were concentrated on addressing critical community needs in education, income, health, and substance abuse. Kate also held previous roles such as Director of Corporate Community Relations at Mahoney and Associates, Key Account Services Coordinator at Right Management, Facilities Coordinator at NRT, and Distribution Marketing Coordinator at Parker Hannifin Corporation. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University, a Certificate in Event Management from Florida Atlantic University, and an Associate's degree from Elgin Community College.
