Souren Arakelian has worked in a variety of roles in the finance industry since 2011. Souren began their career at Deloitte as an Analyst in 2011. In 2013, they worked at Rabobank as an M&A, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking, and at Gimv as a Private Equity. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking. In 2020, they founded BAQME, an electric box bike sharing technology platform offering a sustainable urban mobility alternative for short distance car rides.

Souren Arakelian began their educational journey in 2000, when they attended Wolfert van Borselen O.S.G. and completed a Tweetalig VWO in International Baccalaureate in 2006. Souren then went on to Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration in 2009. Arakelian then pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration in Strategic Management at the same school, which they completed in 2010. Also in 2010, they completed a Master Exchange Program in Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School. In 2011, they earned a Master of Science in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Currently, they are a Level II CFA Candidate.
