Izack Cohen

Izack Cohen is an accomplished academic and industry leader currently serving as an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at Bar-Ilan University and as the Head & Founder of the Industrial and Information Systems Engineering Track for the IISE B.Sc. Degree. With a prolific background, Cohen is also a Board Member for the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management journal and Milopri, one of Israel’s largest fruit packaging facilities, where significant operational expansions and automation initiatives were implemented. Previous roles include Founder of the IT platform compair-just compare&pair, which connects elderly individuals with assisted living services, and a Visiting Researcher at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Cohen's educational background encompasses multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Industrial Engineering & Management from the Technion.
