Assistant Chief Examiner For Professional Ethics at The Bar Standards Board

Cassie Williams is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in advocacy and ethics education. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Examiner for Professional Ethics and Lead External Examiner for Advocacy at The Bar Standards Board since September 2013, Cassie also holds the position of Independent Chair at The Parole Board and Barrister at 33 Bedford Row. Additional roles include Chair of the legal T panel for the Department for Education and former Head of the Regulatory Team at Bank House Chambers. With a background as a Barrister at 39 Park Square Chambers and a Freelance Lecturer at BPP Law School, Cassie has lectured on various BPTC subjects. Cassie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Newcastle University and a BVC from Northumbria Bar School, and is ATC accredited to teach advocacy.
