Jubaraj Baidya is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and engine commissioning. Currently serving as an Assistant Manager at Baraka Group since June 2019, Jubaraj specializes in the commissioning of Wartsila 18V50 engines. Prior to this role, Jubaraj worked at Acorn Infrastructure and Service Ltd, where responsibilities included the commissioning of CAT MAK 16CM43C engines as well as maintenance and major overhauling of the same engines. Jubaraj also gained operational experience as an Engineer at Bangla Cat's 100MW HFO-based power plant. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology.

Baraka Group is mainly engaged in power generation and garment business. It has started its journey in 2007 and at present it has four power generating companies located at Sylhet and Chattogram among which two of those are listed in stock markets. It also has an 100% export oriented readymade garments in Gazipur. Baraka Group has recently started operation of a Securities House.
