Caroline Baranes has a diverse work experience in the fields of revenue generation, marketing, business development, and trade marketing. Caroline has held various leadership positions in companies such as BARALAN, L'Oréal, Chanel, and Prestige PR Luxury Consulting. At BARALAN, Caroline served as the Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for driving rapid growth and achieving performance targets. As the Chief Marketing Officer, they defined budgets, planned and supervised trade marketing activities, and promoted new partnerships at BARALAN. Prior to that, Caroline worked as the Global Marketing and Business Development Manager, where they focused on establishing partnerships and generating business leads. At L'Oréal, they were a Trade Marketing Specialist for YSL Beauté, leading sales and marketing activities with retail partners and managing strategic projects. Caroline also gained experience as a Trade Marketing Assistant at Chanel and as a Marketing Project Manager at Prestige PR Luxury Consulting. Throughout their career, Caroline has demonstrated expertise in strategic analysis, market trends monitoring, and team management.
Caroline Baranes completed their education at the following institutions:
- From 1993 to 2008, they attended the International School of Milan, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
- From 2008 to 2011, Caroline studied at Università Bocconi and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management.
- In 2011, they completed the ECDL course of Excel advanced.
- From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General at Università Bocconi.
- In 2012, Caroline enrolled in Shanghai Jiao Tong University for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business.
- In 2016, they obtained a certification called "The Essentials of Digital Marketing Fast Track" from L'Oréal.
- Lastly, in 2023, Caroline obtained a certification titled "How to Motivate Yourself to Do What's Most Important" from LinkedIn.
Additionally, they obtained the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) and completed a First Aid course in 2009 and 2008, respectively.
