Carmen Martinez Almansa

Carmen Martinez Almansa has been working in the technology industry since 2016. Her first role was as an Embedded System Engineer at SmallSignals. Carmen then moved to BP where they worked as a Global Supply Chain Analyst. In 2017, they took on the role of Data Analyst at LafargeHolcim. In 2018, they became an Automation Engineer at Actemium Spain. Currently, they are working as an Edge Computing Developer at Barbara IoT and as an Embedded Systems Engineer - Research Assistant at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.

Carmen Martinez Almansa completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2017. Carmen then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Embedded Systems at the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2018 and completed it in 2019. Carmen then continued their studies with a Master's degree in Embedded Systems with a specialisation in IoT (Internet of Things) at the Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, which they completed in 2020.
