Miren Zabaleta Castejón has over 20 years of experience in the marketing and business field. In 2020, they became Head of Marketing at Barbara IoT and also took on the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager. Miren is also currently a Professor of Digital Strategy for the MSc and MBA programmes at GBSB Global Business School. In 2018, they were CMO at BIMCHAIN, where they were responsible for the marketing strategy and positioning the startup in the market. In 2017, they worked on the creation of Takenoko Books, a project that designed books for low vision users. From 2005 to 2002, they were Senior Corporate Marketing Manager at ClarkeModet, where they led the Global Marketing for client acquisition in Europe, US and Asia. From 2002 to 1998, they were Business Marketing Manager at Safelayer Secure Communications (Entrust Datacard), where they were responsible for creating narratives and product positioning messaging. Finally, from 1998 to 2002, they were Product Director at IQPC, where they were responsible for launching the Spanish subsidiary in Madrid and creating technology focused conferences.
Miren Zabaleta Castejón obtained a BA (Hons) Degree in Economics from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 1990 and 1995. Miren then went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Business & International Marketing from Leeds Beckett University between 1995 and 1997. In 2003 and 2004, they earned a Master's degree in Marketing Management from Esade. From 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Digital, Direct and Customer Relationship Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School. In 2017 and 2018, they earned a Master's degree in Internet Business from ISDI. In 2019, they completed a Agile Project Management certificado por la Comunidad de Madrid, Metodologías Ágiles from Grupo Aspasia.
