Jordan Barber is an Author and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) specializing in integrative approaches to pain, wellness, and patient-centered care. With over 20 years of experience in both clinical practice and healthcare strategy, Jordan understands the complexities of building a sustainable, results oriented and values-driven practice.

Jordan earned his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in June 2023. His dissertation, "Comparative Techniques of Acupuncture and Dry Needling Intersecting with Trigger Point Physiology and Diagnostics: A Cross-Discipline Narrative Review," reflects his commitment to advancing pain management techniques. Jordan also holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from New York College of Health Professions and has completed post-graduate certification in Acupuncture in Orthopedics and Rehabilitation from TriState College of Acupuncture.

Jordan Barber is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in both Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture.

Jordan is a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild and a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners (ABAAHP). Additionally, Jordan holds licences as an Acupuncture Physician in Florida and as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist in New York. With a focus on musculoskeletal pain, pelvic floor disorders, gastro-intestinal disorders, and headaches. Jordan draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to deliver care that is both highly personalized and results-driven. His boutique clinic in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, focuses on integrative medical approaches, combining traditional Chinese medicine and modern functional medical approaches. Jordan also offers tele-wellness services, focusing on optimal health through lifestyle, herbal medicine, and targeted supplementation. Jordan's approach is rooted in the belief that every patient deserves care that aligns with their unique needs and promotes overall well-being.​

His research includes studies on the efficacy of acupuncture and dry needling, notably the 2024 retrospective study demonstrating ultrasound evidence of trigger point size reduction in the trapezius following dry needling acupuncture. Additionally, his 2023 narrative review explores the intersection of acupuncture and dry needling techniques with trigger point physiology and diagnostics.
