Inês Geraldes Cardoso is an experienced curator, writer, and researcher with a diverse background in contemporary art. Currently serving as an Assistant Curator at the Barbican Centre since April 2023, Inês has also held notable positions such as Head of Curatorial Projects and Development at Shezad Dawood Studio, and Head of Programming and Production at Open Space Contemporary. Previous roles include curatorial assistant positions at Art Night, Kunsthalle Lissabon, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, as well as a curator in residence at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. Inês holds a Master of Arts in Art History and Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews and a Master of Arts in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art.
