Deanna Swearingen

DeAnna Swearingen currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at BARBRI, starting in December 2024. Prior to this role, DeAnna was the Chief Operating Officer at Quimbee from January 2015 to December 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing finance, legal, accounting, human resources, and sales and marketing. DeAnna held multiple positions at Quimbee, including Senior Vice President of Operations, Director of Operations, and Director of Content, focusing on operational management, content strategy, and quality assurance for legal study aids. Before joining Quimbee, DeAnna was a self-employed freelance legal writer, editor, and proofreader from May 2010 to January 2015. DeAnna holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Arkansas School of Law, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas.
