Managing Director Of Legal Education at BARBRI

Mary Apodaca has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Mary began their career as a Teaching Fellow at the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project in 2014. Mary then worked as a Legal Intern for Judge Miles Hanisee, followed by a role as a Clinical Law Student at the UNM Law Practice Clinic. In the same year, they also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Mexico.

In 2014, Mary joined the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office as a Practicing Law Student, before assuming the position of Director, Mountain Region at the National Latino/a Law Student's Association in 2014-2015. Mary then joined Shoreline Medical Software as a Biller/Account Manager, where they worked until 2014.

In 2012, Mary began their studies at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where they were a Student until 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Mexico.

In 2016, Mary established their own law office, where they worked as an Attorney until 2017. Following this, they joined BARBRI Global, starting as a Director of Legal Education in 2014-2017, then progressing to the role of Senior Director of Legal Education until 2021. Currently, Mary holds the position of Managing Director of Legal Education at BARBRI Global.

Mary Apodaca attended The University of New Mexico from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2012, they enrolled in The University of New Mexico School of Law, completing their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree Cum Laude in 2014.

Mary Apodaca also holds several certifications as an Attorney at Law. Mary obtained certification from the New Mexico Supreme Court in September 2015, followed by certification from the Colorado State Supreme Court in May 2015. Their most recent certification was received from the Supreme Court of Texas in October 2019.
