Paula Franzese is a distinguished legal scholar and educator, currently serving as the Peter W. Rodino Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law since August 1986. As a leading expert in property law, housing law, and government ethics, Franzese has also contributed to public service as Special Ethics Counsel to New Jersey Governor Richard J. Codey and as Chair of the State Ethics Commission under Governor Jon Corzine. In addition to academic duties, Franzese is a National Lecturer for Property and Secured Transactions/Commercial Paper with The BARBRI Group. Franzese holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Barnard College.
