David Erill Carrera

David Erill Carrera is a highly skilled GIS professional with extensive experience in technical training, project management, and software development. Currently serving as a Technical Trainer at Barcelona Activa since 2019, David specializes in Python programming and QGIS plugin development. Previously, David held the position of GIS Project Manager at BGEO OPEN GIS, S.L. from 2015 to August 2024, where responsibilities included team coordination and management of GIS projects utilizing Agile methodologies. As a freelance GIS Developer and trainer since 2012, David has implemented and maintained spatial databases, developed GIS applications, and provided training in various technologies. Additional roles included core developer at Giswater Association and GIS Developer & Analyst at Geodata Sistemas, contributing to numerous GIS projects.
