Andreu Bofill

Andreu Bofill, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Trial Data Manager at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), overseeing clinical trials and implementation research in malaria prevention across Spain and sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Bofill held the position of COVID-19 Data Coordinator at Laboratori A. Pumarola, providing vital logistical and analytical support for COVID-19 analysis. As a Doctoral Researcher at IMIM, Bofill's research focused on the human endogenous metabolome's impact on drug pharmacology and safety, contributing insights into drug-induced Sudden Cardiac Arrest within the European H2020 ESCAPE-NET Project. Bofill's academic foundation includes a PhD in Biomedicine, a Master of Science in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, complemented by early research experience in computational biology and systems pharmacology.
