Christopher Carnie

Christopher Carnie is a seasoned fundraising expert and the founder director of Factary, Europe's leading research consultancy in funding for not-for-profit organizations, a position held since January 1990. In addition to this role, Christopher serves as a lecturer in fundraising at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and teaches fundraising and philanthropy at FEUGA, focusing on the intricacies of the private-sector funding market and innovative philanthropic strategies. As director of Fundació Terra, Christopher is dedicated to revitalizing the foundation's efforts in science and climate emergency initiatives. Christopher also contributed as a lecturer at the University of Barcelona’s School of Continuing Education and has experience in philanthropic projects combining theatre and health through Pallapupas. Previous roles include directorships at the Elimination of Leukaemia Fund and research at the House of Commons. Christopher holds a BSc Hons in Environmental Sciences from the University of Southampton.
