Federico Costa is a seasoned researcher and data scientist specializing in Speaker Recognition systems. Currently serving as a Deep Learning Speech Researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since October 2023, Federico also contributes as a PhD Candidate at the TALP Research Center, where research focuses on advanced Speaker Recognition technologies and teaching Speech and Language Processing with Deep Learning at UPC. Previously, roles included Data Scientist positions at Mercado Libre and Despegar, developing matching algorithms and user segmentation models, respectively. Additionally, experience as a Cognitive Solutions Consultant involved enhancing virtual assistants with IBM Watson technologies, and earlier work as a Mathematician focused on gaming algorithms and as a Teaching Assistant in Algebra.
