Darin Newsom is a seasoned market analyst with extensive experience in the field of commodity markets. Currently, Darin serves as a Senior Market Analyst at Barchart since November 2022 and has been the President of Darin Newsom Analysis Inc. since January 2019. Prior to these roles, Darin operated as a self-employed consultant and market analyst from June 2018 to November 2022 and held the position of Senior Analyst at DTN / The Progressive Farmer from January 2004 to June 2018, where responsibilities included technical analysis, writing columns, and public speaking. Darin is an alumnus of Fort Hays State University, having attended from 1984 to 1987.
