Daniel Crane

Daniel Crane is a Data Scientist at Barclays, utilizing data science to deliver business insights and streamline decision-making processes. With a background in biological sciences, they have extensive experience in microbiology, having held roles such as Head of Food Microbiology at NationWide Laboratories and Technical Manager at Microbiological Solutions Limited. Daniel has worked under various accrediting bodies, including UKAS and FDA, and is currently focused on developing machine learning solutions and enhancing analytics capabilities within the Chief Controls Office Data Science and Analytics team at Barclays. They earned a First Class Honours BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Lancashire and a Merit MSc in Developmental Biology from The University of Manchester.
