Derya Tunc

Derya Tunc has over 13 years of experience in banking and finance, currently serving as the COO Private Bank Service Management Lead for Banking & Credit at Barclays since September 2016. Previously, Derya held various positions at Barclays, including COO Private Bank Investments Resilience, Service, & Governance Manager and CCO First Line of Defence Controls Assurance Specialist, focusing on operational risk, control effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Barclays, Derya worked as a Private Banking Executive at Barclays Wealth Management, managing significant client relationships and supporting private bankers with a focus on high net worth clients. Derya holds an MSc in Political Economy of Development and a Diploma in Economics from SOAS University of London, along with a BA in Politics with Economics from Goldsmiths, University of London.
