Joerg Augsburg

Joerg Augsburg currently serves as the Head of CUSO Compliance Program Governance at Barclays since April 2025. Previously, Joerg held several managing director roles at Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking from August 2020 to June 2024, including Strategy Lead for the Global Compliance Surveillance Program and Head of Transversal/Core Compliance, focusing on governance and regulatory alignment. Joerg's experience also includes leadership roles at Commerzbank AG, where responsibilities encompassed the formation of the Central Compliance team and project management within the global PMO following a merger, as well as supporting the COO at Dresdner Bank to establish a functional COO Office. Educational qualifications include a degree in Bank Economics and Management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
