Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and technology management, serving as the CISO Head of Data Protection & AI Security and CISO BX Strategic Change & Innovation at Barclays from July 2019 to June 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Solutions Architecture and Product & Portfolio Management at Macquarie Group and EMEA Head of Technology at Goldman Sachs. Thompson has also held significant positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Global Head of Equities, F&O and Prime Brokerage Technology Infrastructure & Ops, and served as the Founder and Director of Riverstone Consulting. Jon Thompson holds a Bachelor's Degree with First Class Honours in Electronic Engineering from Middlesex University, completed in December 1992.
