Jonathan Sloan

Jonathan Sloan currently serves as the Regional Head for Scotland, Newcastle, and Northern Ireland at Barclays Private Bank since February 2025. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Head of Barclays Wealth and Investment Management for Northern Ireland while also serving as a Director at Barclays since joining in July 2008. Between January 2021 and February 2025, Jonathan was the Regional Director, overseeing Scotland and Northern Ireland at Barclays Wealth Management. Prior experience includes corporate finance roles at Canaccord Genuity Inc. from 2006 to 2008, and serving as a solicitor at Stephenson Harwood LLP from 2004 to 2006. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen's University Belfast and a Legal Practice Certificate from Nottingham Law School.
