Richard Satchwell

Richard Satchwell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Country CEO and Managing Director at Barclays Australia since June 2011. Previously, Richard held the positions of Managing Director, Co-Head of Barclays Australia, and Head of Loans, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance for APAC. Richard's career began at Nabarro LLP as an Articled Clerk, followed by a role as Senior Associate at Allen & Overy. Richard also gained significant experience at Barclays Investment Bank as Director of Loan Capital Markets from May 2005 to December 2010. Richard holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Sheffield Hallam University and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) qualification from Chester Law School.
