Robert Jones is the Head of US Controls for International Corporate Banking, Wholesale Lending, and Transaction Banking at Barclays Corporate Banking, a position held since 2025. Previously, Robert served as a Senior Compliance Manager at Barclays from 2017 to 2022, where they led Compliance Assurance audits and managed compliance functions. Prior to this, Robert gained extensive investigative experience as a Police Sergeant with Merseyside Police from 2006 to 2015, leading complex criminal investigations and managing a team of officers. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Football from Liverpool John Moores University and a Foundation degree in Criminal Investigations from the University of Central Lancashire.
