Tianren Zhang

Tianren Zhang is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in quantitative analytics and financial modeling. Currently serving as an Assistant VP in Quantitative Analytics at Barclays since February 2023, Tianren previously held the position of finance modeling and methodologies specialist at UBS from February 2021 to January 2023. Additionally, Tianren completed a summer analyst role at Goldman Sachs in 2020 within the Global Markets Division, focusing on derivative backtesting logic. Prior experience includes tutoring undergraduates at the National University of Singapore in mathematical concepts and working as a data analyst intern at John Foord, where Tianren analyzed replacement cost valuation methods for offshore oil and gas platforms. Tianren holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the National University of Singapore.
