Vejen Stoilov

Vejen Stoilov is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational risk management, currently serving as Director and Head of Capital & Stress Testing Operational Risk at Barclays since July 2014. Previously, Stoilov held the position of Director of Operational Risk at Barclays Investment Bank from September 2009 to June 2014 and worked as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank AG from January 2005 to September 2009. Stoilov's career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where roles included Senior Manager in Banking & Capital Markets and Senior Auditor from January 1995 to January 2005. Stoilov's educational background includes a Corporate Finance degree from London Business School, an Associate designation from the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services from The University of Manchester, a Fellowship from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Economics and Business Administration from American University in Bulgaria, and a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
