Gao Yong

Gao Yong has extensive experience in the technology and electronics sectors, currently serving as Vice President of R&D and Operations at Barco since November 2010. Previous roles at Barco include R&D Director and General Manager for China operations. Prior to Barco, Gao held the position of RBU Manager at Phoenix Contact for a short tenure. Additional experience includes serving as Program Director at Global Development Center Philips Lighting Electronics APR from June 2006 to May 2010, and a 13-year tenure at LGPhilips Displays, where roles included General Manager of the Technology Development Center and various positions in R&D and management. Gao Yong holds a degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, obtained in 1992.
