Elmira Bayrasli is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia, media, and international relations. As the Director of Bard College's Globalization and International Affairs Program since September 2016, Elmira teaches the course "Foreign Policy in the Time of the Internet." In addition, Elmira contributes as a host for Project Syndicate, engaging with economists and policymakers, and serves as CEO and co-founder of Foreign Policy Interrupted, an initiative aimed at amplifying female voices in foreign policy. Elmira has also written for TechCrunch and Forbes, focusing on global startups and entrepreneurship.
