Bard College
Emily White currently serves as the Associate Director of Bard Ecology Field Station and holds the position of Research Associate in the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Computing at Bard College since November 2022. Prior to this role, Emily was the Director of the Open Society University Network Community Science Coalition and a Research Associate at Bard College from January 2019 to August 2022. Emily's academic career includes positions as Citizen Science Faculty at the University of the South from 2011 to 2016 and as Faculty Fellow in Analytical Chemistry at Colby College in 2010-2011. Experience as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the United States Environmental Protection Agency occurred from 2007 to 2010. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, a Master's in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor's in Chemistry and Environmental Studies from Tufts University.
