Sabbir Ahmmed is a Plumbing Engineer at BR+A Consulting Engineers since August 2021, responsible for calculations, drafting, system design, and preparing plumbing construction documents for commercial buildings, which include supply water, sewer, storm, compressed air, natural gas, and medical gases. Prior to this, Sabbir worked as a Team Member at Target from April 2015 to October 2020, providing customer service and organizing merchandise while balancing work and studies as a full-time student. Sabbir also gained experience as an Intern at AHA Consulting Engineers in early 2020, where responsibilities included equipment selection, system design, and collaborating with mentors on project requirements. Sabbir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology (2018-2021) and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bunker Hill Community College (2014-2018).

BR+A was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975 by Gene Bard, Arjun Rao, and Ted Athanas. With just 11 MEP design engineers and a few rooms packed with drafting tables, they built a firm that would become respected for solid engineering and even stronger relationships. Over the past four decades, we’ve been through a few transitions. While many things have changed, a lot is still the same. Today, we operate eight offices nationwide and employ hundreds of dedicated team members, but we are still proud to be an employee-owned firm. And although we’ve traded our drafting tables for BIM, AutoCAD and Revit, we continue to make MEP excellence the core of our practice—while helping our clients explore innovative design solutions.
