Zachary Rohlfs, PE, is an accomplished Plumbing Engineer at BR+A Consulting Engineers since August 2016, where responsibilities include writing proposals and managing smaller projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer at Fitzemeyer & Tocci from July 2012 to July 2016 and as a Staff Engineer at Design Learned, Inc. from 2008 to 2012, where design work focused on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with LEED project management. Zachary began a career in engineering as a Pipe Organ Builder at Southfield Organ Builders from 2004 to 2008, gaining hands-on experience in construction and electrical wiring. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

BR+A was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975 by Gene Bard, Arjun Rao, and Ted Athanas. With just 11 MEP design engineers and a few rooms packed with drafting tables, they built a firm that would become respected for solid engineering and even stronger relationships. Over the past four decades, we’ve been through a few transitions. While many things have changed, a lot is still the same. Today, we operate eight offices nationwide and employ hundreds of dedicated team members, but we are still proud to be an employee-owned firm. And although we’ve traded our drafting tables for BIM, AutoCAD and Revit, we continue to make MEP excellence the core of our practice—while helping our clients explore innovative design solutions.
